So you receive a gazillion holiday greetings each year. Some with photos, some without. They are soooo cute and so very cheerful! You read them, put them out on the mantel to add holiday cheer, and you Ooh and Ahh over them. Am I right?
When the holidays are over what do you with them? Do you keep them?
If they have photos you may be thinking “I should keep them right?” Wrong!
As you can probably tell by reading my other entries, I’m a big believer in not accumulating anything. My belief that those people who sent you cards this year, will send you cards and photos next year and before you know it you will have 10 + years worth of cards accumulated somewhere. This is yet one more thing you have to manage and you already have enough to do in your busy life!
My advice is don’t keep them. Put them out and enjoy them for the season and then let them go.
Unless you are planning to frame and display any of these photos of friends, loved ones and pets, then let them go! I promise you will get more next year!

For the photos that I absolutely can not do away with, I scan them to an online photo album – Picasa, Flickr, SmugMug are some great options. That way I don’t have the clutter and they are always accessible.
That is a great idea Seana! Thanks for sharing
